U.S. Mission Pakistan invites applications from eligible individuals for the position of Secretary of Defense in the US. High Commissioner, Lahore.


Key Functions of the Position – The Security Secretary performs a wide range of administrative tasks assigned to Regional Security Director, Assistant Regional Security Director, Foreign Staff Chief National Investigator (Sr. FSNI) Assigned duties manage Regional Security Office (RSO) travel plans so Support and coordinate research leadership between NIs), passport completion and follow-up and time & attendance for 19 local RSO staff. The incumbent facilitates communications and strategies, required to support Regional Security Office (RSO) operations and relations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan and all police forces throughout the province of Punjab.

Qualification Requirements :

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of prior clerical, administrative, or office management experience is required.


Education: Higher Secondary School Certificate (12 years education).

Professional Knowledge: Must have a good working knowledge of current Microsoft Office, Database, writing, and computer programs.

Language: Excellent business skills - required to speak/read/write in English, Urdu & Punjabi. Proficiency in English may be tested.

Skills and Abilities: The incumbent must be able to use computer software: MS office, Outlook, Database Management. Ability to deal with others and to distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information and to accurately report facts in a logical, concise and objective manner. Skills and abilities can be tested.
